Reviving a lost physical activity

Duration: 14 Days

Lost interest in fitness is common, especially when routines feel monotonous or disconnected from personal joy. The world of holistic fitness offers an incredible variety of practices that support both physical health and mental well-being, making it easier to rediscover enjoyment in movement.

Consider which movement you feel most called to, which you may have lost touch with, and which might renew your sense of joy, presence, or adventure.

Consider these Physical Movements & Reflect on these Questions

Walking: A simple, accessible way to move and center the mind.

  • When was the last time you walked purely for enjoyment?
  • How does walking outside shift your mood or energy?
  • Do you notice your body and breath as you walk?
  • Can you identify a favorite place or route for walking?
  • What keeps you from walking more often?
  • Do you walk alone, or with friends/family, and which do you prefer?
  • How do you feel after a brisk or mindful walk?

  • When did you last feel connected to your core?
  • Do pilates exercises support your back, posture, or flexibility?
  • Have you lost interest in this mindful practice recently?
  • Are there online pilates routines you’d like to revisit?
  • How does your breathing change as you flow through pilates?

  • Do you crave more gentle movement?

  • How does running outdoors differ from indoor cardio for you?
  • What barriers prevent you from moving mindfully today?

Hiking & Camping: Builds endurance, nourishes soul in natural settings.

  • When did you last hike or camp?
  • How do nature’s sights, sounds, and smells influence you?
  • Are there trails or parks you want to explore?
  • Could an overnight stay in nature help restore your spirit?

  • Is there a sense of childhood freedom you remember from biking?
